not a bad little scannder

I work for a bank and we use these for scanning drivers licenses to match with individual accounts, and where they are not intended for doing this they work well enough.

Works good, image quality is good enough for what I use these for

Doesn't always catch info on some business cards

Penpower WorldCard

Don't buy this item unless you want to be able to scan in dozens of languages.

Hardware is fine. Scans quickly and efficiently

Makes character recognition mistakes. Software is quirky. Difficult to use software. I returned this item and puchased a CardScan model, and it is infinitely better. The problem lies entirely with the software, and has nothing to do with the hardware....

Excellent Unit

The new unit works superbly.

Installed easily and worked as advertised. The unit gets better at ID as you use it more

The first unit was DOA. New Egg replaced it via RMA but the manufacturer was not going to be as kind

Works Almost Perfectly

I'm looking forward to using the flatbed to scan in sheets of address data. Have not done so yet, though.

Very easy to use. Software install was a snap. OCR works 90+ per cent of the time. If you have people with normal cards it works great. Some of the more stylish ones choke

No real cons. I'm highly impressed. I've fed in 130+ cards so far and almost all have been 100 percent correct each time. Can't imagine how long it would have taken to punch all that stuff in by hand

Best Business Card Scanner

Highly recommended for people who like easy to use product.

Best business card scanner I ever used, it is easy and convenient. Time saved for storing hundreds of business card I get over the years

No issue so far

Bad for glossy photos!

This may be the go-to scanner for business cards, but don't buy it thinking it will work for those boxes of photos you've been wanting to digitize. My search continues...

Small. Twain driver is simple but sufficient

Feeder slips badly on glossy photos, I got maybe 1 good scan out of 5, if that. Pressing the buttons on the scanner causes exactly nothing to happen. SW install puts an icon in the system tray with no way of removing it. Calibration gives no feedback....

Less than adequate scanner...

I will be buying the more expensive device that is more of the industry standard when it comes to card scanners...

1. Easy to install, WinXP recognized device quickly ; 2. Relatively fast as far as a scanner goes

1. Caused Outlook 2007 to crash despite latest update of software from manufacturer ; 2. Error recognizing legible emails despite "calibration ; 3. Calibration interface misleading as there is no feedback about success or improvements of calibration ;...

Awesome handy tool

Price is a little high.

Pretty good product, I tried to scan a business card, it recognizes everything: name, address, email, website on the business card. The contact that save on the WorldCard manager can be directly use on the outlook. It saves me a lot of time for the...

The installation takes a little time when it tried to install the MS.net Framework 2.0, it took me more than 10 mins, it might be just on my pc. Other than that, everything works fine
