Pretty good

 

Fairly good. Accuracy depends on technique as well as font / background

Doesn't work well reading black text off cardboard. The 'button' that needs to be depressed for the unit to engage is a little stiff, will dig into corrugated cardboard. I was able to open the unit and modify the spring mechanism easily to overcome...
