Product Specifications

Plustek introduces the OpticPro 600P, a 30-bit color flatbed scanner that features 300 x 600 dpi optical resolution for an industry-first low price. Known as the industry leader in price / performance value, Plustek's OpticPro 600P also includes image-editing software by Micrografx as well as OCR software by Expervision. The OpticPro 600P makes quality 30-bit scanning affordable for everyone, 30-bit color depth also allows the OpticPro 600P to capture color from a palette of more than one billion colors. The OpticPro 600P features an easy installation because it connects to the PC's parallel port and includes Plustek's exclusive Auto Address Finder technology (AAF). AAF searches the computer system's parallel port and configures it to work optimally with the scanner. No manual configuring of addresses or IRQ's inside the BIOS are necessary because AAF does it all for you. And of course, no interface cards are used so you don't have to open the computer.
