up to expectation

I needed to scan some old slides so did not want to spend too much. The Plustek F50 went on without bother and did the slides beyond expectation. I call this value for money without frills.

Easy to use but could have done with better instructions to save time having to play around to discover how it worked. In the end I returned this model as I needed something with better quality reproduction - even the software included with the scanner...

This is a lightweight plastic box made in China, powered by a USB lead, with an instruction manual, one rack for four slides and another for six negatives. The CDRom driver didn't start installation automatically, so I had to follow the instructions...
