I purchased this device just weeks before Sony announced it was to be discontinued. They dropped the device and then the software. I now have a buggy device with buggy software that requires rebooting my PC frequently just to get the software working...

Works great

The fingerprint software is very accurate and fast. Sony says accuracy rate over 99%. I believe it. This is a very high-tech gadget.

I have received this item without the (driver & utilities) CD. The unit is totally useless now,,,, am trying to contact amazon.com
