This slide scanner was insanely easy to use. My mother who is not at all computer literate was able to figure it out without any trouble. Made for an excellent Christmas gift for my parents who have hundred upon thousands of old projector slides....

the only issue i encountered was that the 60 year old slides i wished to scan were too thick to fit into the holder, which i remedied by shaving down the slots in the holder with a razor blade. if your running paper rimmed slides there should be no...

This scanner is on a par with a child's disposable camera. The instruction booklet, probably translated word-for-word from the Chinese, is useless. So you're on your own for hours of trial and error. And be prepared to spend $15 more for a memory card....
