The Pentax DSmobile 600 is an easy scanner to set up

Overall, the Pentax DSmobile 600 produced scans that were smooth with little sign of jagging

For an entry-level scanner, the V200 does a great job on photos and text

For more basic scanning, though, you can't knock the V200

The cards scan quite clearly and the software makes short shrift of different card styles and shapes

Now on version 4, it's a mature offering, and will be going along with our laptops to our MacLive Expo visit

The quality of scans produced for text documents is readable, but could definitely be improved
