Veho VHS-004 Deluxe

Very easy to use and provides good quality with negatives.

Not so good with slides

Looks and feels good.

Some very bad results with the image quality of many of the slides are transfered to my HP TouchSmart PC (it is impossible to control the light levels and the focus). Some of my 35mm slides are cardboard mount (Kodak) and some are plastic mount (Agfa)...

Bought it for an odd scientific Application. It worked great straight out of the box and I got some shocks about how grainy some of my old slides were!

I would have liked to have some control over the illumination.

It is easy to use etc...can make hi or low res scans and can deal with slides or negatives

I have had poor quality results...even when the actual slide is perfectly ok? I was expecting to be able to turn the brightness and colour up or down to achieve an optimal scan? Thsi doesn't seem to be possible... so the scanned result is either...
