Defective - Returning to Costco

I wish the product worked..but unfortunately it's defective. A short is causing it to not turn on at all most of the time. Occasionally I can get it to power on, but even then sometimes the screen freezes or it shuts down in the middle of a project....

Returning product as it is defective, usually won't turn on, screen flickers or shuts off in the middle of projects. Interface is easy to use and scans are pretty good quality. I wish the scanner actually worked..but there's a short somewhere

Defective product usually won't turn on, screen flickers, or shuts down during projects Tried other cables to connect but no luck. Directions warn against putting pressure on connector, which I haven't done. It's obviously not made well

Nice product

Nice product, works better than expected. A little time comsuming but that is to be expected for the job being performed

Great product within its limitations.

First off, this is an older version. They have a model that yields 14MP images. That said, I bought this two years ago from Costco and I didn't pay anywhere near what is currently shown as the price. Even the new model costs less. It sat for a year,...

Just what I expected

I read all the reviews (from this website) on this product and compared it to a few others before I made my decision--and I am very pleased with it. Some people commented about how poor the scan quality is, but I find it totally depends on the quality...

So easy!

I read a few reviews online and picked this scanner for some old slides. Soo easy and quick. I have used it a few times now and it really doesn't take long at all! I would recommend.

Good way to preserve old slides.

This worked fine even though I was disappointed at first, until I scanned some slides taken by a professional, who had used a good camera and film. Big difference! If the camera and film you used way back then were of average quality or less, the...

Gets the job done!

My wife inherited thousands of slides from her father that include family photos and vacation pics from over 30 years of family history. We wanted to digitize these family heirlooms, but didn't want to spend a fortune doing it. While this product isn't...

Not a great choice

This scanner would give different light levels to the same slide when duplicated. Picture quality was not particularly good. Would not recommend.

Like a toy

This product feels cheap, and performs even cheaper. I was able to scan about 30 slides, and it completely stopped working. The main problems I had while it worked were 1) the controls didn't seem terribly intuitive; and 2) there was no way to scan the...
