Xerox 7600

Xerox 7600 flatbed scanner is affordable, color scanner for Windows users. See where it ranks at TopTenREVIEWS.

The Xerox 7600 has a relatively low retail price

The USB port is not the fastest and the image resolution is not competitive

The flatbed scanner competition has eclipsed the Xerox 7600.

Xerox 7600i review

Others, like Plustek's OpticBook series, have special features that make them particularly adept at scanning thick material like books. Other times, the reason is simply faster higher quality scanning for a limited asking price. And that's where the...

While the Xerox 7600i isn’t going to win awards for the quality of its colour, it produces very palatable scans, and generates them in a surprisingly short amount of time. It won’t be troubling the £100+ models, but for those who’d like to improve upon...

Xerox 7600i

A straightforward budget scanner but with an above average scan engine and great software.

Portable, with no separate power supply ; Three programmable one-click buttons ; Better scans than typical AiO

1,200ppi maximum resolution ; Poor Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) results ; Some colour cast noticeable

OmniPage 17 is one of the most accurate applications of its type and once recognised pages can be saved in a wide variety of different formats, including searchable PDF.

Xerox - 7600

When Canon first introduced its LIDE flatbed scanners, they were the only devices on the market to be USB powered and ultra-slim. Then Xerox brought out its 7400 model, with a similar design to the LIDE. ...

This is a neat and effective scanner, with a good software bundle to support it. As a general-purpose scanner for home and small office, it's quick enough, has reasonable resolution and saves power, compared with most externally powered scanners. It's...

Scanner won't scan over 100 dpi

I am glad it was discontinued

I love the size and portability, very easy to use. The price seemed reasonable.

In a very short time the scanner would jam and crash any scan over 100 dpi which is unacceptable for clear pictures.

Great Scanner for the Price

Early in the usage cycle, so I can't speak for long term. But so far, this product is performing at or above expectations, especially for the affordable price I paid.
