Great Small Server
We installed with a OCZ Vertex SSD for the OS (Windows Server 08) and Velociraptor for Data. HyperV server. Speed is phenomenal with quadcore 3360 processor.

fan shroud is a little hokey. ive got a RS100-X5/PI2 as well, and that one is much more solid. like everyone has said, get the right bios. loud loud loud otherwise :P

no rails. defeats the purpose of a "rack mount" too heavy for just the ears
What were they thinking?
This is marketed as a home server. Unless you only want to store documents and photos, there is not enough space on this machine for much. Why not put in a 1 TB drive or sell it bare drive? It fills a nitch better suited to your four year old desktop.
Nice form factor. Room to stuff one card in there for an interface to a RAID array.
Small hard drive that would have to be pulled immediately.
