Review: Fitbit Inspire, a decent option for those just starting to track fitness

Fitbit Inspire review: Inspire is for those who are only after activity tracking basics and are not too bothered about advanced features.

Lightweight, slim design ; Solid basic fitness tracking ; Good at monitoring sleep ; 5 day battery life ; Great software platform

Entry level features ; Thick bezel ; No heart rate ; No altimeter

If you’re looking for an easy entrance into the world of fitness tracking, Inspire might fit the bill. The device covers the essentials and it uses Fitbit’s tried and tested smartphone app to deliver the info. But remember, the tracker doesn’t go much...

Fitbit Inspire review

The Fitbit Inspire is an activity tracker that will monitor your daily step count, but not much more.

Easy to use Petite Attractive design

Very limited features Battery life could be better Not good for actual exercise tracking

It isn't inspired, but the Inspire does the job if you want a step counter with style, and not much more.

Fitbit Inspire review: Is this pretty pedometer worth the money?

The Fitbit Inspire offers basic activity and sleep tracking for a little less money than the Inspire HR. Is it a fitness tracker worth considering?

Slim and subtle design ; Lightweight and comfortable to wear ; Decent basic activity tracking ; Waterproof to 50m ; Smartphone notifications ; Fitbit software platform is great

Lack of features compared to competitors ; No swim-tracking despite waterproofing ; Colour options mean coloured screen (some won't like this - but we do)

The Fitbit Inspire is a slim, stylish and waterproof activity tracker that offers a great performance in the features it offers, whilst also offering numerous accessories to change the look. We'd recommend spending the extra money for the Inspire HR to...

Fitbit Inspire review: Just spend a bit more on the HR

The Fitbit Inspire is a perfectly good wearable, but for an extra £20 you get a whole lot more

Well priced ; Stylish design ; Fantastic app and community

Lacks connected GPS ; Limited feature set ; The HR model is just £20 more

Even then, if money’s tight, I’d advise going cheaper than this. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 offers the same kind of features for less than a quarter of the price and throws in a heart-rate monitor as well. If you’re going to compromise on features, you may...

What’s the point I’d a HR monitor that doesn’t measure Heart Rate

This was a stupid buy it doesn't give you your heart rate, I had it's predecessor that did so thought it was a given, I don't trust it's accuracy and will be replacing it with a new watch as soon admin possible. The strap is more uncomfortable than...
