Garmin Index Scale review

Garmin's Index connected scale is a no brainer if you own other Garmin gear.

For cyclists, runners, swimmers or anyone else who is already using a Garmin device to track their sports performance and fitness, adding the Index Scale to the mix is a no-brainer. In fact, we found it to be one of the best additions to our Garmin...

Garmin Index Smart Scale

The Garmin Index Smart Scale wirelessly keeps track of your weight, body water, fat mass, and bone mass, but it's a bit pricey for what you get.

Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and ANT+ syncing. Readout shows weight as well as body fat, BMI, body water, and bone mass. Clean design. Supports up to 16 users.

Initial syncing issues in testing. No pregnancy mode. At the high end of the price spectrum.

Comparisons and Conclusions The Garmin Index Smart Scale is on the high end of the price range for scales that wirelessly and automatically sync your weigh-ins to an app. At $150, it costs the same as the top two scales in our ranking, the QardioBase...

Looks good

Set up was easy to start with. Then all my settings disappeared. Lost all its memory. Had to completely delete the app. Took hours to get it working again. Very dissatisfied

Garmin Index Smart Scale

All the info you need for keeping an eye on your body stats. Use in conjunction with my fenix 5 watch and my fitness pal app which all works amazingly well together.

A little tricky to set up multi users.
