Three words: DO NOT BUY

Note that in my system, I made the fatal mistake of using this drive as a boot drive. I've gone through two of these drives in the last two years, and they all died pretty much the same way. One minute, I have a working drive. One runaway error and one...

Fast data transfer, low price

Very unreliable, no shock protection whatsoever

Worked great, until it died

I love SSDs, but this is my second one that has just died. The other was a different brand but even more popular. I always make sure I don't have anything vital on these drives now.

Fast, quiet, small

Random BSODs for a couple months before finally giving up the ghost after about two years of use. RMA'd today. I need my drives to outlast my use of the box and so far SSDs have not done that. I always have a large secondary drive with my videos,...

Great SSD

After the firmware update that came out in November of 2011 this drive has been flawless. No more blue screens. I highly recommend this drive.

Very Fast and will saturate a SATA II connection. Initially setup with SATA II and now I am on SATA III with full speed. So far it hasn't failed me. The case is made of metal and has a good feel of quality to it

Random blue screens prior to the firmware update

Be Careful

My final system: intel 2011 socket, core i7 3820, win7 64 bit, 16GB RAM, Gigabyte X79 UD3 mobo, GTX 560Ti, 2 of these ADATAs in raid0 on Intel X79 controller. First install with raid0 was unstable. I also tried these without raid with same problems....

Very fast. Stable after much difficulty, effort and tinkering

Installation of software was not straight forward. SSD is unstable with normal install. Disk loses communication with operating system and drops out causing system crash

From Happy to Sad

First time user of a SSD.Easy to set up.Ran extraordinary.Unfortunately it lasted 8 months and died.Hopefully this is very random. But we will see how the warranty works out

Works great in Raid-0

Sandforce based, so works extremely well in RAID configurations, due to the garbage collection. With one of these AS-SSD reports 480 MB/s sequential read. Pairing two in RAID-0 gives 930 MB/s. (This requires SATA-III of course)

Always make sure firmware is up to date. Early versions had stability issues

Fast when it works

Currently have a request in to their tech support for additional help, but I would definitely NOT recommend this drive to anyone. For almost $500, I expected error free operation out of the box and that is absolutely not what has been delivered....

Very fast. Easy installation. Firmware update was simple

Very unreliable operation, even after firmware updates

Excellent synchronous SSD!

This thing is blazing fast! I was lucky enough to get it for a buck per GB after rebate and it's definitely a worthwhile investment. Easy setup too. Just make sure to update your firmware as soon as you get a hold of it. I will never go back to a...

Faster than a Scalded Cat

I was sure to update the firmware using my old machine before installing an OS on this drive. I decided to go with one 240GB drive instead of two 120s as Win7 doesn't support TRIM in RAID0.

Ultra fast, ultra quiet. Hasn't given me one BSOD/hiccup ; This model was the least expensive of the Tier 1 recommended SSD drives in a recent online article from a major review site
