Works like a champ

Avoid Mushkin, their warranty service is non-existent.

uh...worked for a little while

Failed after less than 2 years, Mushkin completely ignores me

So far..... Great!

I have been very satisfied with this product so far and for those older laptops this is an excellent choice.

I have a Dell Studio 15 from 2009 and it has been through a lot of heavy use between school and some gaming here and there. After a while I started getting BSOD and the computer started hanging and running sluggish. So I had been keeping my eyes open...

A lot of the reviews mentioned this drive failing within two years which is disappointing. But lets hope I have a good one. I'm still holding my breath a bit just in case

Died after 24mo

I'm unsure if the life of this drive is indicative of SSD's as a whole or if this particular drive was a lemon. I will definitely try another manufacturer next time around.

Worked well for 2 years

Died 24 months after installation

Cheap

Died 1 month, 3 weeks, and 4 days after purchase. Had to restore MBR several times just to recover data, then stopped responding. DO NOT BUY

Fast SSD

The genius bar makes me sad. The SSD from newegg makes me glad.

Fast snappy performance in a late 2009 macbook. I think read and write were both over 200MB/s but I forgot the exact numbers

Wonderful drive!

Drive has been working great in my HP DV7 laptop with heavy usage for 6+ months with no issues. I just ordered another one for my desktop PC. Great price per GB

None. SATA II could be seen as a con, but there are still tons of great systems and hardware out there that don't support SATA III - adding this to a few year old system really brings it back to life

Solid

Has ran solid as a secondary drive for close to a year running games that aren't put on my main Sata III SSD. Have had to uninstall and reinstall a few times and the thing still runs. Would recommend as a secondary drive

Dated tech being on Sata II, but if you have no Sata III ports left this is a nice addition

Very nice SSD for SATA2!

The Rev B Callisto Deluxe is nearly identical to the Chronos Deluxe line in that they share the same controller chip. Because of that, the firmware update from the Chronos Deluxe is used to flash the drive ; I have a work laptop (Thinkpad T410) and...

None. For a 240GB SSD the price was excellent
