Fast SSD

The genius bar makes me sad. The SSD from newegg makes me glad.

Fast snappy performance in a late 2009 macbook. I think read and write were both over 200MB/s but I forgot the exact numbers

Wonderful drive!

Drive has been working great in my HP DV7 laptop with heavy usage for 6+ months with no issues. I just ordered another one for my desktop PC. Great price per GB

None. SATA II could be seen as a con, but there are still tons of great systems and hardware out there that don't support SATA III - adding this to a few year old system really brings it back to life

Solid

Has ran solid as a secondary drive for close to a year running games that aren't put on my main Sata III SSD. Have had to uninstall and reinstall a few times and the thing still runs. Would recommend as a secondary drive

Dated tech being on Sata II, but if you have no Sata III ports left this is a nice addition

Very nice SSD for SATA2!

The Rev B Callisto Deluxe is nearly identical to the Chronos Deluxe line in that they share the same controller chip. Because of that, the firmware update from the Chronos Deluxe is used to flash the drive ; I have a work laptop (Thinkpad T410) and...

None. For a 240GB SSD the price was excellent

So far, so good.

I haven't run any benchmarks on this except the windows experience but it doesn't really seem to live up to the speed hypes. This is my second SSD, and i must say it was a whole lot ezier to install. Haven't had any BSOD or any issues yet. Stock...

Faster boot time ; Windows score went from 5.9 - 7.8 ; Uses less power than hdd

per GB ; Based on reviews, reliability is unknown

Awesome Drive!!!

Perhaps the Motherboard is to blame for the loss of performance numbers. BTW I hate it when people don't share their technical specs! So case in point, this is my particular rig out of many: Gigabyte GA-P45T-ES3G (chosen because it was watered down &...

Wicked fast drive! For running a motherboard that has no RAID option, made this the perfect choice! Motherboard recognized the drive right away, set it up to be the main "C" drive with W7 64 bit. Install and all updates were screaming fast!!! Also what...

Although this drive is fast, it did not perform at the MFG's specs for read/write times sequentially. I have two (2) I7's running W7 64 bit in a RAID (ASUS Rampage III Extreme) with dual WD 500GB Black 7200 RPM Dual processors. One machine with these...
