My first SSD

I've had this a year now. No problems. There's nothing else really to say. I could benchmark it for you but I'm not going to.

1) Fast ; 2) 22 second Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate boot time ; 3) Most applications/games load at mind blowing speeds. (Comparatively)

1) It's ruined me. I'll never be able to operate anything off a HDD outside of storage again ; 2) I was unable to buy two of them ; 3) Laundry wasn't done when I got home

Best Upgrade I've Ever Done

I installed 2 of these in a RAID0 setup on a Rampage Formula MoBo. That means SATAII only for me. In the Raid0 setup, Crystal Mark shows them at 523 MB/s Read and 517 MB/s Write. That is exactly what I expected considering my SATAII is holding the...

Very Fast ,, Easy Install for me

These things cannot do the laundry

FAST

I run a Minecraft Server on this thing (which is known for its constant Hard Drive usage) and the drive is still going strong 6 months later. Really happy with the performance increase.

Runs fast, runs cool, runs quiet

Price? (Like all SSD's)

Corsair FS GT SSD 240GB

I upgraded from the HDD included by Apple, so I had to manually enable TRIM, as well as make other tweaks such as disable the Sudden Motion Sensor.

I have been using this drive for 5 month on a Macbook Pro (15-in, Late 2011) without any problems. Boot time, program loading, and file operations are lightning fast. Very quiet

The rebate took over a month to process and ship, but I did get it

Corsair FS GT SSD 240GB

For anyone wanting a fast and quiet drive that doesn't use much power to run, get an SSD. Make sure the motherboard has SATA III connections, otherwise the purchase and use of this SSD will be meaningless. Current Config: [Ci7-3770K, Intel Z77, GTX 680...

Fast, smooth, small, light and quiet. I purchased the SSD SATA III to try out Windows 8 Pro 64-bit and compare it to a 7200 RPM SATA II HDD that is running Windows 7. The SSD way out-performs the HDD. Installation of Win 8 was a breeze, took less than...

None so far except I think the drives are still too expensive. Maybe by next year prices and storage capacity will be better. I'm not expecting to download or record HD or SD movies, so 240GB should be enough for me. But for others it may not be...
