Unreliable, Poor Support, Fast

In the future, I will never purchase another SSD from Corsair. My experience with this drive has been terrible. I'm glad that I finally have it working, but it has been three months. It should have been working from day one.

I purchased this in September, and from the very first day I owned it, I would see blue screens at random, usually one or two a day. This continued for months until it just became unbearably obnoxious. I looked for solutions and eventually found...

If I pay $100 for something, I expect that it will be functional and that I'm not going to have search the web hoping to find a solution. Corsair sold products with terrible quality control, and the support on their forums is awful. Their description...

fast boot up and operation

Crashes almost half the time the laptop goes to sleep. I close the laptop or it goes to sleep and about half the time when I go to use it again, it has crashed and wants to restart in safe mode

Solid Performance

I am definitely sold on the SSD idea i just wish they weren't so pricey Would like to get 3 more and set up a raid 0+1 Make sure your mobo either auto detects or is set to SATA III and that you use a SATA III cable, there is a massive performance...

Much faster than any mechanical hard drive i have ever used ; very small thinking of getting one for my lappy ; In my rig it benches orders of magnitudes faster as i OC my proc and ram up to 4.2 Ghz quad core and DDR3 2100..... i think these drives are...

still to expensive in my opinion ; It does drop in performance over time if you don't maintain a pristinely clean setup

Good Drive

Will probably buy another as a second drive eventually, to hold more of my games and programs. Right now it's filled with OS and most of my programs.

Thing is fast, got it a while back on shell shocker. Have had it long enough to get all the kinks out and now the thing runs like a beast. The price per performance at the time was great, I get close enough to the rated speeds it states I should get,...

Crashed the first couple of days I had it. A quick firmware update to 1.3 solved those issues though

This thing has been dead-on reliable for me (knock on wood), and has easily been the most effective upgrade for my gaming PC. Seriously thinking about getting one for my laptop. Kind of wish I'd went a bit bigger, as Windows 7 likes to dump a lot of...

Incredibly fast

Small size for the price

Good SSD if you have SATA III 6Gbs on your Motherboard, if not, don't get it. The way the ram is made in difference to the SATA II's makes it blue screen more, go with the Chronos of Mushkin. You get +5,000 more IOPS (=Faster Startup), and they...

Extremely Fast, especially due to the 80,000 IOPS, windows turns on even before the windows bubbles completes ; File Dragging takes no time ; Again, the speed is a lot faster than the SATA II's, much upgrade, it's in the same price range as the SATA II...

Some Minor Blue Screen even with the 1.3 Firmware ; If you search in the Forums on Corsair, there should be a 1.3.2 Firmware(or later), it will fix your blue screens if you are on 1.2 Firmware, but for me, somehow 1.3 moving to the 1.3.2 fixed my blue...

2nd Failed as well

I'm really blame myself that I did not listened other negative feedbacks. Now I would like to get back my money, but I can ask only replacement. I do not want spend more money for post office, especially if I know I will receive a similar bad drive.

It is my second drive with 1.3 firmware, but I still get blue screens and blue screens. At least this drive does not freeze for 30 seconds every two minutes. Hard Disk Sentinel says: "The health is determined by SSD specific attribute(s): 233 Media...
