Dead

Corsair website is hard to navigate to figure out how to RMA or get a warranty issued.

Super fast drive as all SSD's are

Half dead before a year is up

super fast ssd

I am not a gamer. I combined this purchase with core i3 ivy, h77 mobo with sata 3 ports, 8 gig of fast ddr 3 ram, and windows 8. The boot time is a little under 10 seconds. IE or firefox open instantly and there is no lag with running anything. Very...

Great SSD

I have used this product for the past 6-8 months. Its great, Now that Black Friday just passed i picked up 2 more for about 110. I plan on putting them in a Raid 0 for a bit extra space. I work for a IT company and have purchased many different types...

Fast ; Reliable ; Red(works great with my pc build)

None that i have ran into over the past 7 months of ownership

It flies, and was a major deal

Splendid. I don't think I'll ever go back to running my OS on a hard drive. I put my OS and hardware-hungry programs on the SSD and they run perfectly.

7 seconds elapse from the time I press the power button until Ubuntu is loaded. There was a sale when I bought it that knocked $50 off the price, and there was a mail-in rebate for another $35 in savings, which Corsair processed without any problems...

It won't last forever. It's <100 gigs, but the $/GB for a Corsair SSD was excellent given the sale and rebate

Not Bad

Despite the driver upgrade issue - I was able to plug in this drive and run it no problem without even changing my controller config to AHCI (not that it should be run in this way). The drive controller should be set to AHCI, and you should make sure...

Nice upgrade from the HDD the system had been using. At desktop fully loaded in < 30 Seconds

Installing the drivers can be a pain if you don't have a lot of expertise. If you plan to put your OS on this drive and want to upgrade to the latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver for your on-board controller - you need to install the driver...

Lost and Confussed

Great idea but may not work for our systems.

Quick read/write and easy to install. Increase benchmarks from a 15K Seagate HD by about 15-20%. I hear the more you write to them the slower they get, not sure

I built 2 systems and installed exact same OS and programs. One on this and 1 on a 15K Seagate HD. This build always uses about 40 GB of HD space.... this SSD is showing 80 GB of used space. I am baffled as to why. I have checked for bad sector, not...

Lost and Confussed

Am I missing something? Do SSD not record data at same compression as other HDs?

Quick and easy to install, improves performance over 15K Seagate although only 15% or so

I build the same units over and over. We wanted to switch all OS drives to these SSDs. The build uses about 40GB of HD space. For some reason this SSD says it is 80GB of software installed. I have formatted and reinstalled and the same thing? These...

Speed Demon

SSD is the future. I got this guy for less than a dollar per GB. Increased the speeds of everything. BF3 loads like a champ on this guy. Specs 3770k stock 8GB Gskill 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance C70 MSI R6950 TFII

Speeeeeeeeeed. I chose speed over capacity, I HAVE NO REGRETS. I named the little fella Laser Beam, because it's light and fast. I went from a Seagate 3.0Gbs to this guy, amazing difference ; I go from dead to firefox in ten seconds ; 555 MBs read...

Uses sandforce drivers, the faster but less reliable SSD controller. I've had no problems with they yet, but wont be surprised it this guy dies. I'll let Newegg know if it happens, still five eggs

Fast!

I use this as my OS drive for windows 7. It is fast. I am booted up before the Windows animation comes together. I am loving it so far

None at this point in time

Awesome!

Installed this with a RAM upgrade, computer is very fast now. I downloaded Macrium Reflect to just duplicate my old primary drive exactly. Didn't have to reinstall anything, runs just like before, but many times faster!! Setup is: AMD FX quad-core...

Fast, Fast, Fast! Looks good (if you like that sort of thing, mine's very hidden away). Comes with a sweet 3.5" adapter

I wasn't paying attention when I bought it.....I didn't realize it came with the 3.5" adapter. So I bought one separately. And threw away the packaging before I realized it. Haha, oh well. Maybe it'll come in handy later
