Impressive

This is my first ssd and I am very impressed with it. I know I haven't had it for very long, but I have built many many computers and this is the first one that actually made me grin while booting up and shutting down. I am running Windows 8 and it...

Fast, Great Boot up times, Fast, Great Read/Write speeds. Did I Mention Fast

Incresed speed using SSD

Best way to speed up an old system. My first Corsair SSD has run fast for a year without error.=) The win7 install on the SSD used about 30 GB. Win Experience drive Score went from 5.9 to 7.0 on SATA II 3 year old AMD MB. In my other new SATA 3 Intel...

Runs Fast ; Installed Fast ; Partitions and Formats Fast ; Win7 boots and runs real fast ; Corsair has great Tech Support, so I bought another one

Got to pay up for speed ; According to Corsair Support, a SSD drive dies if any one NAND fails. So use your old drive as a backup drive. OR you can add another new 3 TB drive like I did. This gives me plenty of room for large data and backup

Fast @ 71.8 cents/formatted gig

I purchased this to replace a one year old Corsair Force 90GB SSD Win7 boot drive that at one point had less than 300mb free. It never lost speed and never gave any problems. Although, at that point MS Office had a fit. I hope that this Neutron series...

This was an easy install with the included adapter plate. Access and read speed are as advertised and the formatted size is an expected 238GB

SSD usage is addictive. Failures are not subtle

Neuron Revisited!

NewEgg just can't be beaten when it comes to timeliness and getting business taken care of! (Infant Mortality just happens!) ; As for the Crucial support issue, I DO harbor negative feelings toesrds THAT company) ; My 1st Nueron died a fast death (see...

Crucial Support is the weak link

Unbelievable

I purchased this drive because of the 95,000 IOPS. I use my computer 12 hours a day, 6-days a week and want the drive to last 3-5 years. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out how fast it was. On a virgin Windows 8 installation, the boot time...

Very Fast

This is twice as fast as my other SSDs.... OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G and ADATA Premier Pro SP900 ASP900S3-256GM-C. They are all on the same SATA2 controller.

Speed, Price

Disappointed

I got fooled like everyone else got fooled into buying Aliens: CM. Love Corsair products but this is one I recommend to avoid if you're a gamer or trying to game. My 840 Pro shows Seq. read - 542/491 whilst Neutron doing 360/370.....

SSD ; Rest is cons

Slow startup speed ; Takes FIVE minutes for BF3 to load ; About 1m for Windows 7 to load ; For 209$ just 40-50 cheaper than the GTX, I was expecting to have some performance

So far So Good

I highly recommend doing a google search for 'ssd installation guide' and following the one posted on overclockers. It walks you through each and every step needed to maximize the potential

Easy as pie to install ; Recognized instantly by windows as an SSD ; Lighting fast even on Sata II (start up speeds have been reduced by ~60%)

Some of the screws for the mounting plate felt like I needed to drill press some new holes, but after some coercive conversation I managed to get them in tightly
