Great drive

If you are using this as an OS drive in a desktop and you don't use hibernation - you can save a ton of space by turning hybernation off (windows related - do a google search for the commands). I would move the page file if you have another drive - to...

This drive promises fast I/O and it delivers - write speeds are "OK" for an SSD - still blazingly fast and this drive shines where it counts - which is peak I/O performance

It's a laptop drive - so if you want to use it in a desktop you need a tray to put it in. It's only 256 GB

This SSD sure delivers the performance it promises such as ; Uber fast boot up time & shutdown ; Programs loading is extremely fast compared to old HDD (5400rpm) ; 7mm size is small and compact for ultrabooks

1. The software kit that was included never successfully transfer the files/programs from old HDD to the SSD. Always failed with the error "source file is larger than source destination" yet the old HDD only occupies 40GB (much less than the 256GB SSD)...

Excellent SSD

Bought this to replace a dying Hitachi 320gb 7200rpm in a Lenovo T420s that I bought about a year ago. The HDD was making a horrific grinding noise for about the past month, I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did. The replacement SSD arrived fast from...
