I missed the 30day return for replacement ONLY policy newegg holds on this item and Dane-Elec corp will NOT honor a return strait to them if the plastic film has been removed from the drive. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THIS FILM TO INSTALL IT!!! So... I'm stuck...

it's an Intel drive and comes with nice accessories

I've tried to install this drive on several laptops by HP,Dell,ASUS,and even a few towers. I get the same results on all of them. The drive will not work at all unless the sata controller is set to IDE mode(not cool) and then when in IDE mode it will...

It's like I bought a new laptop

I had been reading about the speed of getting an SSD drive and thought I would give it a try. It really is like I bought a new laptop. Windows boots so much faster and apps open instantly no waiting. I went ahead and did a fresh install of Windows 7....

Good Drive

So after installing this drive, I really love it. It's fast, quiet, and fits perfectly into my SFF case that I built the system around. I installed it in the case vs. an external drive. My "only" gripe is it's not as fast as I would have expected. If...

Fast ; Quiet ; Low Power

Dane-Elec DA-SDM25-80G-N-T-MK ssd kit

An 80gb Intel ssd for under 200. i got the sale price what can i say. this is the lowest price i have seen. plus it fits 2 sizes of hdd's 1.8inch or 2.5 inch. I liked this so much I purchased 3.

This is an Intel 1.8 inch ssd in a 2.5inch adapter, so it can fit 2 sizes of sata. comes with a decent usb enclosure. It is a very fast ssd, as we all known intel has really made some very good ssd's . Price was very good on sale at newegg. It is 80gb...

The only con I found was the little bonus usb drive of software has a key/code that did not work. it did not affect me as I already had superduper loaded. superduper comes as the mac cloning software. it still works but the master unlocked version did...

7.4 out of 7.9 win7 speed assessment

Kit comes with external aluminum usb case. Used a the primary boot disc, makes boot up faster by at least 60%, which is especially noticeable when booting into Vista 64bit ; The speed of this drive is identical to OCZ Summit drive, and I had to pay...

I can think of none, except for size. For a primary disc, I like 120gb min. yet this one is most cost effective and without flaws of yet

Very nice but fussy

This is a generation 1 Intel SSD as mentioned in other reviews. When I had problems with the first install (ABIT), and I actually installed the OS four times and could not get it right, I was wondering if the SSD was just being dumped because it was...

Fast. Initially installed on an ABIT NFM2-Nview and had lots of hangs, stutters, black screens of death, etc. with Windows-7. Did not do any of the tweaks, so not sure if they would have helped or not. Installed on an ASUS M3A78-T and works flawlessly....

Still a bit pricey, but not a bad improvement in performance for the cost

Great SSD

Dane's packaged retail product is really more than you can expect, with the 2.5" adapter for the 1.8" Intel SSD device, and then the 2.5" Sata USB drive enclosure which is a top of the line, velvety textured case (I might find a use for it somewhere,...

This SSD outperforms its specifications, just specially to give you that extra bit of confidence that you made the right purchasing decision. It is as fast today as it was on day one, so forget all those scary anecdotal stories you've read or heard. I...

Lightning fast

Awesome drive so far, sweet external case that comes with it.

I used this drive for an upgrade on a macbook pro. MS word loads up almost instantly and fusion handles VMs like it was loaded on ram

I looked at the 2.5" version x-25. Couldn't believe a larger size would be more

Greate SSD, OK Price, Awesome Software

You get the added bonus of a 2.5" external drive after you migrate :)

The drive is an intel SSD, what more is there to say about it. The ease of use of the software was unexpected. In less than 10 minutes I was moving data from my 80 GB partitioned HDD to a 20 GB partition. After it completed, hooked up the SSD and...

Nice Upgrade

Working flawlessly in my T400s, which was equipped with 1.8" Toshiba drive. With acronis true image, migrating the contents on larger size disk(250G, ~30G data) to this smaller drive makes things easy. was able to clone both partitions(boot & recovery)...

Speed, quiet, consume less power. Come with 2 enclosures for 1.8 and 2.5" that allows you to fit smaller to the larger. great deal with the $50off promo, fast shipping. Thanks! Newegg

Nothing significant really. If one were to nitpick, the 2.5 enclosure requires 2 USB port for power and data is probably only one
