I bought this drive almost immediately when it came out. It started out well, but then went sour. I experienced data loss, stuttering, pauses and lockups. I RMA'ed the drive to Newegg and got a brand new drive. I flashed the firmware to 1571 and...

Fast. By taking the time to align the partition I now boast speeds up to 250+MB/s ; Access times are 0.1ns ; I am running the new 1571 Firmware Version ; I experience no stuttering, pausing or lock ups ; Uses the newer Indilinx IDX110M00-LC controller...

Price is still high. But its still $140 cheaper than when I first bought it (with free shipping to boot), and much cheaper than some of its competitors ; Their support measures not quite to snuff in comparison to OCZ. That shouldn't be a big issue the...

EVGA X58 Classified motherboard powers down temporarily when rebooting. Perhaps the drive isn't finished writing when that happens? I can't even return the drive! It' non refundable so I'm stuck with this at a $700.00 loss!

Fast while it works, but it doesn't work long before errors happen

Extremely difficult to complete a Vista install without a failure at some point where data is corrupted. Even if OS install succeeds it's only a matter of time before it fails to boot due to being corrupted and being given a message saying an OS repair...

great when it works

I wish I had an N router to test this card. The router mentioned above is a DI-524.

Fast, when it works. I havent run any benchmarks, but boot up is fast. Wake from sleep is fast. Launching apps is fast

I have this installed in a unibody macbook. I use the macbook pretty heavily, couple hours a day. I have found that the drive "freezes" about once a day, the freeze last for about 2-4 minutes. During this time, the whole GUI is unresponsive. It then...

Fast, Quiet, Efficient

At time of writing the firmware version that ships with the drive is the 1370 version, same as what OCZ is using.

Very fast drive using the new Indilinx controller (same controller found in OCZ Vertex series). Access times are astoundingly quick. No noise. Less Power

Cost ; No ICY DOCK combo at time of writing (other SSDs at newegg offer the dock for free)
