Probably too new, even for Intel

 

Just an FYI... Uses standard SATA. Does not use mini-sata as my personal laptop uses. I bought this is to replace a very old 7.200RPM Seagate in an office HP/Compaq laptop. Even with this SSD not living up to the SATA spec of the laptop, it almost...

Very solid metal enclosure. Actually weighs the same as the old drive I removed. Definite improvement in speed! My last HDD to SSD wasn't all that great. 5 year warranty! Going to outlive this laptop, and probably my next.

The Intel transfer software I have been using for about 2 years now failed to recognize this SSD. Even when I swapped the DVD drive for this, it wouldn't clone. Intel SSD tool kit saw it with no problems, although complained about no partitions. Had to...
