Good Choice

would recommend for a base system build, with normal HHD as backup for the larger files.

Awesome load times. for programs and startup

little small for OS and additional large programs (ie games) ; Optimum for office style functions

FAST!!!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Samsungs future releases of newer lines of SSD's

Super fast SSd

Inserted my Win7 disk into my dvd rom and hit go. Win7 was copied in the blink of an eye. Win7 installed in about 30 mins. Very satified.

Samsung 830

Installed drive into a later 2011 MBP. Originally had the 500GB 5400 rpm drive. Original machine used to boot up in roughly 60 seconds. Now with the new 830 drive it boots up in less than 15 seconds. AMAZING!!!!!! :-)

Beautiful little drive & EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

This did end up dying on me, but when it did Samsung pre-paid a next day air return shipment and then sent back the same way. It was less that 48 hours from death to replacement part back to me. I've always said the measure of a company was how they...

I get write speeds faster than they claim. Read is a bit slower, but negligible. I was so impressed with this that I bought a 256 GB model for my laptop

I fed and watered it and it still didn't grow. I probably should have just started with a bigger one
