Disappointed

120 GB" is actually "111 GB" if that matters to anybody. This is the last SSD I purchase from this company, for the hype, I was hoping for much better write speeds. For games, you don't need write speed as much as read speed, if you only care for...

Cheap-ish ($99 for 120GB isn't too shabby) ; Came with a mounting bracket I didn't need ; Much faster than a HDD by far, speed increased 5x, boot times decreased by 5x ; Very realible, never had any BSOD, random shutdowns, no errors whatso ever, which...

Boot times seems to slightly increase by a few milliseconds with every boot it seems, boot times have increased by ~4 seconds since first usage one month ago, although, as more data is put on the SSD, you will notice a slight performance decrease, was...

SSD is the new norm.

My first SSD so I am thoroughly impressed. Everything is near instant. One of my favorite games has a save file of about 1.3 Gb so I used to hit 'save' and go take a smoke break. Now it takes 7 seconds. Buy American!

Fast, silent, fast, small, fast, cool

SSDs in general are still on the pricier side

Fast at great price

Faster than others of this size and at a better price

SOLID SSD

5/5 eggs. Would recommend buying larger capacity instead.

Extremely fast synchronous SSD. Benchmarks are satisfying

Regret not purchasing a bigger size ; My benchmarks haven't been able to meet the advertised performance results

Great reliability, great price/size/performance!

I chose this drive due to many good reviews of Mushkin Chronos drives as well as a lot of low cost/GB recommendations for value. If I had a few more bucks to spend, I would probably have gone witht he 240GB drive, but this will suit me in conjunction...

I came from an OCZ Vertex2 60GB which was no slouch, but there were times where you could tell that it couldn't handle certain I/O loads as well

It only rated as 7.2 on my WEI, but I'm not taking that too hard

Not a bad option, but not exactly high end.

As stated in the cons I had 1 of 4 fail after less than 2 months of very light use. Contacted Mushkin for RMA and they were very easy to deal with. Speed is nice at first, but know what you're getting. This drive is nothing like the 240GB Chronos...

Cheap ; Speeds quite impressive out of the box ; Mounting bracket included plays nice with hot-swap bays (at least it did for me)

1 out of 4 defective within the first 2 months ; With Sandforce controllers and asynchronous chips this SSD's speed will drop over time ; Does not have Synchronous NAND like the 240gb (and higher) deluxe

need support

Gave it two stars since one is working fine. support gets the worst I can give it. 3 hours is unacceptable and really who knows how long it would have gone on if I didn't quit. 30min and counting on round 2 I think I'll just save myself the time and...

I got two. One for desktop and one laptop. They are quite fast. Get close to advertised specs. Windows runs very snappy. With that see cons for frustration venting

One drive in the desktop failed out of nowhere 40 days or so after install. It was running when I went to sleep, and in the morning nothing. Not recognized at post. I switched it to other sata ports tried using it as hotswap esata, nothing. Its just...

Set expectations before you buy

I used ATTO and CrystalDiskMark to benchmark this disk's speeds using sequential and random read/writes in steps of 0.5kb through 8 mb for a chunk of 256 and 512 mb of data. I am running this SSD on ASRock 890FX Deluxe5 motherboard on its AMD Sata 3...

Except the random read/write speed tests, I don't find a CON. I hope the drive lasts for a good time

Dead at 32 days.

Worked well when not crashing or dead

Over the course of a month had 4 blue screen crashes ; Completely dead after the 4th

Read and write on par with advertized speed, boot up win 7 in 15 sec, almost instant load up on all my programs, made in USA, I recommend Muskin for ssd and memory. Just blowin' away by the quality and dependability of their products
