Once you go SSD you will never go back.

In my haste to complete the build, I made the assumption the mobo would automatically choose AHCI, SMART and Native settings. Original build set it to IDE and had WEI scores of 7.3. Figured out my assumption was wrong, made the correction including a...

Put this in my new build with a Gigabyte x58-USB3, i7 950, 12 GB of G. Skills Pi 1600, Win7 and WD Velociraptor. Avg. about 20 seconds for a cold boot up - that's from me pushing the power button to staring at a fully functional computer

Really needs about another 10 GB. I have only Win7 64bit, Office 07, PS and 2 critical video editing programs loaded on it and I have about 20 GB left. I do a constant shuffle of data from the drive to my storage drive

Awsome speed

Thinking of putting one of these in my other PC. Boot time seems so long!

Running Win 7 64 bit and programs to drive my HTPC. Machine boots in seconds. From the time the BIOS runs to fully ready for use including typing Win password is less than 20 seconds ; Easy install no effort

Blazing fast...

I paired this drive with a Samsung F3 1TB for extra programs and two F3 in RAID0 for video work. This works really well. I've always liked Mushkin ever since they were first introduced on Anandtech years ago. I used to buy cheap memory but never again....

This was installed in my "old" video editing workstation (Intel Q6600@3.2GHz, 8GB Mushkin DDR2-800 Blue Line, Gigabyte EX38-DQ6), and replaced an older mechanical drive. The speed is like night and day difference! I am getting very close to the rated...

Not a con, but once capacity increases a little more, I will certainly have to spend more money to buy another Mushkin SSD for my programs drive

Flawless Performance

Finally, a SSD that is a decent capacity and a realistically affordable price for the gamer who wants performance on a budget. (if only the GPUs would go down in price now…)

Wicked fast, scored a Win7 rating of 7.3 out of the box ; Installed win7 pro 64 bit in less than 5 minutes ; Included all hardware needed to convert to 3.5 drive bay

Absolutely nothing ; (a case-sticker or SATA2 cable would have been a nice touch but that's not their fault.)

Fast as anything. Use ATTO benchmark.

DO NOT USE "AS SSD" benchmark with non-Intel chipsets. It will give you horrible scores and they are completely inaccurate. This also goes for the Vertex 2 and C300 drives as well. Make sure you use the MS AHCI drivers and also have AHCI enabled in...

Lightening fast read and write times. Perfectly silent and dumps no extra heat into the case ; ATTO benchmark: 275MB/s read, 240MB/s write ; Much faster than 2 Vilociraptors in RAID0

None. Buy it

Buy it!

Excited with these new forms of storage and running OS/Programs. Amazingly fast and low power cool drives. Great for laptops and desktops. Mushkin doesn't get enough attention for a great product!

Does everything you want and at super speed, no noise, cool running, very low power

Price but worth it

Awesome Drive

I used a new version of gparted live to run internal secure erase the hard drive (I tried out a couple OS before making up my mind, so I wanted a clean wipe). I used the APRICORN ASW-USB-25 USB 2.0 to SATA Adapter to back up my original drive...

Just awesome, installed onto my Asus G73JW with a fresh install of windows 7 home premium, all the drivers, and some preferred software. From windows boot screen to fully loaded takes under 20 seconds. Windows rating on drive is 7.7. Real world rating...

I can't think of one, I've been trying, but no cons related to this product. It would be nice if internal secure erase software were included

Incredible

I was only able to install a couple games on this drive. However with the OS installed on this drive it improves my gaming significantly even if games are installed on a separate 7200 rpm drive. My PC specs: Amd phenom 965 ASUS M4A79T 8 gb ddr3 1600...

Very very fast. A little expensive but for how fast it is that is understandable

Mushkin SSD 90GB Raid 0

I spend a lot of time reserching which SSD should I get Corsair,OCZ or Mushkin..Ended up with this ones and very glad. Will be torturing Mushkin's Support if anything :) Newegg ADD picture upload feature. Dont want be called a Liar :)

Packaging is insane, you can play hockey with it and SSD will be safein it. Brackets, screws..Nice. Plug and Play(at least for me). Had 2 HDDs in raid0 7200RPM WinIndex was 5.8. This Raid 0 is obviously 7.9 ; I am not a guru but I did download few...

167GB in RAID0 instead of 180GB What is this Mushkins? you robbed me of 13GB :) !!! Just kidding. I knew that some space was reserved, just didnt think it was that much, not really a Con if you expect it
