Performance is good. Quality is suspect.

I paid more than the current price but even still with new price can't honestly recommend something that only lasts a year.

Fast when it was working

After about a year of intermittent working (would not always register on boot) it finally got a Kernel inpage error and never worked again. Of course this started after 30 days. Was only used for OS with paging and libraries moved off to a separate...

It has been a reliable drive

I see a lot of reviews about shot life. Would I trust this drive? I trust this drive as mush as any drive I have owned. I don't trust any of them. **************BACKUP OFTEN !!!!!!! ***************

Good price at the time I bought it. That was 2/12/2014. Installed in an Acer v3-772G. This is it's current state as of this drive after 18 months ; Model : MKNSSDAT120GB-DX ; Firmware : 507ABBF0 ; Disk Size : 120.0 GB (8.4/120.0/120.0/120.0) ; Queue...

It does get hot. Has not seemed to effect it. but should have a heat sink. Half egg off. Also it is not the fastest thing out there. If coming from a spinning drive it is fast and will make most happy. If you looking for top performance this is not...

Failed just under 3 years

Time to RMA

Fast, when it worked

After about 18 months the computer intermittently wouldn't boot due to the computer not recognizing the drive ; Total failure in just under 3 years. Purchased on 8/14/12

Over 3 years - Review

Hope this helps as many reviews has helped me.

Okay, so wanted an mSata and Mushkin has typically had good memory so got this. It's been in the box for over 3 years. It's stable and relatively fast for its day

None that I have had

Failed in less than 3 months

If you need a drive for important documents and data I would not rely on this drive. BACK UP YOUR DATA!

Cheap, fast shipping. Mushkin agreed to RMA quickly

Failed in less than 3 months, customer service quickly agreed to RMA as if this is a common occurrence

Failed after less than 3,000 hours! Data lost!

The machine it runs in went unresponsive a couple days ago. This was powering a bookend machine from ZOTAC that I used as an iTunes relay to my NAS in my home theater and as an RDP server so I can get to my network from work. After less than 3,000...

Decent price for capacity ; Was fast when it was still functional

Failed after less than 4 months

Stopped working

Long 3 year warranty ; Fast ; Fit perfectly in my Dell laptop unlike another brand mSATA drive I tried ; Worked perfectly for almost sixty days

Quit after less than two months ; Despite the claimed 3 year warranty, Mushkin still refuses to provide an RMA

Long Term Update

Not a bad drive, but I'm certainly not impressed with the degradation of this thing so early. For a drive like mine that has seen nothing but windows and one handful of programs its entire lifetime, this thing should run full steam ahead for years to...

This drive has treated me well, has been responsive, and has been relatively fast early in its life. It took my MSI gaming laptop to new heights when originally purchased

Drive now runs hot constantly...generally 51* C at idle, often over 60 after a fresh boot ; Drive has slowed down tremendously. I have windows installed on my HDD just in case this thing crashes, and the speed difference between the two is now hardly...

Mushkin died after 2 years 2 months and got a replacement pretty quick

Should be of a better quality because it died just over 2 years

Nice for the price and performance. My 1tb hd took a minute to boot up and was laggy. After slapping in this Mushkin 120GB my Windows 7 boot time was down to 10 seconds on my Lenovo Y580. pretty good compared to traditional hard drives

Sad part is it died after 2 years 2 months and lost all my data. Mushkin was pretty fast to replace it under the 3 years warranty as promised and everything is as fast as before
