Nice drive, but one failed after only four months

I've been buying OCZ drives for a while now and in the beginning of August 2012, I purchased two of these SSD's. I configured them both in a RAID 0 configuration. Everything was super lightning quick for three solid months. Then, out of nowhere, I boot...

Very fast ; Boot up is fast ; Loading programs is fast ; Fast game play ; WEI of 7.9 ; RAID 0 with these is screaming fast ; With two of these in RAID 0, I've never seen a computer run faster in my life ; I love SSD's

Failed after 4 months ; Customer service not horrible, but not that great either ; Really an 80GB drive once the system recognizes it, but this should be expected ; See other thoughts

My first SSD

I use my laptop honestly for gaming and internet browsing mostly. It's no gaming PC but it will run Skyrim at low settings decently. However, the scene load times were killing me. I bought this hoping to see those go away. They didn't, but they're...

Fast and (on sale) can be quite inexpensive. I paid well less than $100 for this - not through Newegg this time, but I'm sure it will be on sale here for about the same. Using it in a laptop w/o 2 drive bays, and the laptop isn't Sata III - but it's...

Not as big as I'd LIKE to have, but plenty big enough for what I use it for. I remove no eggs for that though as that's why it was cheap enough for me to buy! (I'm too poor for much more.) I've had a couple of hold-your-breath moments with it though....

I performed a basic installation on a WD SATA III and restored system to SSD with True Image 2012. After boot system BSODs. Does not occur on hard drive.

Small form factor / low power usage / high transfer speed

Cannot boot with Windows 7 Ultimate

Good, but expected more

Got this for $105. If rebate comes through, it'll drop down to 85 dollars

Compared to my HDD drive, it's way faster. Boots/Loads all programs at startup within 20 seconds. Reasonably priced

Not sure if i'm doing something wrong here. I'm getting about 380MB/s on reads and about 350MB/s on writes using the ATTO Disk Benchmark. Don't get me wrong, that's great but i don't get why i'm getting these speeds when others are getting the rated/of...

Worth every penny!

I can't stress enough how important it is to update your AHCI drivers from Intel. This is my second SSD (my other laptop has a Kingston HyperX) and they both greatly benefitted from updating the AHCI drivers. The Intel Driver Update Utility won't check...

Great value and solid performance! I ran a few benchmarks and the speed rating is as advertised, if not a tad bit faster than advertised. Once you go SSD you'll never go HDD

Not really a con, but I was a little surprized that it came in a blister pack, though not really a big deal. Also, it's just the bare drive, it doesn't include any mounting brackets or screws, so you'll need to provide your own if your rig doesn't...

Good Value

Arrived with FW 2.15 already installed. Came in the usual green cardboard box, not the new blister packaging. Installed with an Icy Dock adapter. No issues at all. Ran the Crystalmark test and showed solid performance numbers. I'm using this as a data...

None. At $85 (on special) who can complain

Worked for 3 weeks.

Very fast. My made my budget laptop lag free

Died after almost a month. I got a single random BSOD, restarted and the bios would not detect the drive. I popped into my USB enclosure and windows would find it but any program that would try to read it would freeze. I tried the OCZ utility and when...
