In service for a year, works flawlessly

 

I put this into service about a year ago as the boot drive for a server, and it has Just Worked. No data errors whatsoever. The server boot time decreased from about 45 seconds to about 10 seconds, under Debian Linux.

I sent one back to OCZ thinking it was defective and when the new one arrived it still did not work with my desktop i remembered I had a laptop sata to usb adaptor and pluged it in and my desktop could now see the drive but only at usb 2.0 speed. DONT...

This SSD is fast for a SATA II device in my 2 year old laptop ; it goes from power off state to desktop in 15 seconds that includes post time as well

Excellent. Quick. No problems.

 

Make sure to adjust your paging file size and disable hypernation feature. Let's say you have 16 gigs of RAM, that's 32 gb of wasted disk space on paging file and hypernation file.,

I was skeptical due to some of the negative reviews on this. But no problems whatsoever. Plugged it into my W520 under keyboard, installed Windows 7. Adjusted paging file size to 1024 mb, and disabled hypernation feature, and it's fast

All in all, I'm happier than a clam. I got my product in about a day with no extra shipping costs on a 3 day deal, no BSOD's, no hiccup's of any sort it just wants to go go go !! I do wish there were more mSATA drives that are SATAIII but this was...

Everything. Windows install just finds it w/out upgrade of BIOS or firmware, fresh install of 7 64-bit. Boot times are under 10 sec, programs load ultra fast, definately compliments the fast hardware already in my laptop

Made a great way to install Windows 8 in my tablet. Nice to have so much more space than the original drive. Wish I could get 500gb!
