Satisfying Purchase

Make sure you got a M.2 Slot or PCI M.2

When you boot it makes sure it actually reads the SSD ; M.2 which has transfer speeds up to 10gb/s but this isn't close haha but still good ; Read 700mb/s ; Write 100-300mb/s ; I will test again if anyone needs questions or want newer results after...

Several cases of corruption

Very fast and tiny form factor. Beats my Samsung 840 Pro SSD by 70mb/s on my ASRock x99x with a i7-5930k

I've had four cases of OS files becoming corrupt needing a full reinstall in the course of three months. Sadly going to fall back to the 840 and find some other use for this

Doesn't work with VTd

I sent an email to Plextor support about his bug, asking if they intend to fix it, but I won't be holding my breath... since it existed for a while now, and my first attempt at contacting support went unanswered. I've ordered a SAMSUNG XP941 and will...

Decent price. works in both PCIe and SATA modes

Doesn't work in virtualization environments (ESXI, XEN, KVM, ect) due to bug in Marvell controller that prevents it working with VTd ; Just google "Marvell controller VTd bug" and you'll see the bug reports
