DONT BUY IT

I was fan of Samsung products, but not after this product. Update: I send it to Samsung for fix, complete with the original box but they returned it to me just the SSD and the cable, no box, no manual.

Cant give pros,

You fill it with files, and then suddenly after a message will tell you the hard needs to be formatted before you can use it. Surprise, You lost all the files in it.

Bought 2 of these - 1 dead within 7 months

Replacement sent wasn't initialized/formatted. After performing that - would not show up in explorer. Sending back again. Replacements sent out are not tested.

Small, very fast. One of them has been great...but now I'm scared.

Bought two of these. One I have used extensively over the last 7 months. The other was purchased for my daughter and she never used it. I recently started using the second one in the last month. After one month's use, it will no longer power up. Will...

Very good speed!

Recommend if you need to transfer a lot of data with extreme speed , otherwise just get a fast portable HDD with more capacity

Portable :) Very fast

I couldn't get more than 300MB/s, mostly around 100-200MB/s while transfer files. 300MB/s at max. A little pricey

Freaking Awesome

I use this nearly every day to take a bunch of video projects and other files to and from work. This way I can work on these on my 6700k desktop at home, my MacBook Pro on the go, or my 4790K desktop at work. I just plug it in and it instantly shows up...

Really fast. Faster than pretty much any USB thumb drive. I've benchmarked it around 420MB/s. It's also much smaller than I thought. It's about the size of a business card. It's nowhere near as large as a 2.5" SSD. It's also really light weight. I put...

None that I can think of. I guess it's always nice if it's cheaper.

Mac Addendum

One thing that was left out of the Mac instructions in the immediately preceding review is that the SSD needs to be connected directly to your computer (without any hub or intervening device) to be recognized as a boot drive. Even though you have set...
