Does the job!

I have this running Windows 7 for a digital currency mining rig. Does the job well and is very light in weight.

Very light in weight ; Works very well with Windows 7

Good value

Bought this to run as the main drive for a bitcoin rig. Windows 7 installs at 11.5 gb (approx), which leaves a fair amount of room for any drivers or necessary software and updates. It comes pre-loaded with this Ready Cache shenanigans, so just format...

Low cost ; Enough space for Win 7 ; Good speeds

Good SSD

Low price with good performance. I got it to use as a replacement drive in my old laptop. I used it with Ubuntu OS (Linux based OS) which gave it a really fast boot. My laptop overheated due to a fan failure so at work we had the idea to upgrade...

A good SSD at the price/size

One note of caution: While installing this drive into a family member's machine, I ran into a problem that seems to be plaguing many others. That being that the drive would flush itself after rebooting from a full shutdown. It seems the solution, at...

Need a small drive to take advantage of your motherboard's built-in Intel Rapid Start Technology? This is the ; drive for you. You won't find another small SSD drive from a reputable company at around the 50 dollar mark. For ; others just looking to...

With the cache drive, windows boot up is quick and app/program launch times are nearly instantaneous. However ; don't expect any difference when transferring/copying files. That will still be the responsibility of your ; mechanical drive. There ARE...

MonkeyPig says.....

I had hight hopes for a improvement with this item till i acculally used it. Since i repurposed it as a pagefile and readt boost it seems i have a new machine.

never really achieved advertised speeds. So i partitioned for my pagefile and readyboost. Now I can see the improvement

The caching program is a failure. It doesn't back itself up so if there is a sudden failure or power interruption the cache is lost

No Base Line Reference

I have it installed on 3 computers of which one is using all SSD's.I don't have anything to compare to but watching the monitor I see it is working and really does boot fast.

Noticeable difference, fraction of the price.

Have an option to keep the cache regardless of BSODs Or Be able to manually add what you want in the cache and keep it there. Either of these options would 5 egg it for me.

When it works, it works great ; System boots up easily 5x faster (I have a lot that runs in the background that takes forever during boot) ; And during boot I can easily open and access Chrome and Steam, something I could not do before until the...

I have a driver issue I need to fix ; So I get a BSOD like once every two weeks, normally not an issue but it also clears the Cache Drive ; So it takes about a day or two to full build again ; (BSOD is not related to the actual drive though)

Awesome

If you plan on buying this drive to install windows 7 on it, I would not suggest it for the fact that the os takes up most the drive and leaves no room for updates. It is wise to raid it with other hdd's to get the speed.

I was a bit undecided on buying this drive as I had mixed feelings about the reviews on it but I went ahead and ordered 2 of them for 2 seperate builds and I'm glad I did just that. I now 32gb's is small (infact, to small for win 7 ultimate + updates)...

Ehh...

I like the idea of using the SSD. I'll have to buy a much bigger one next time.

It does what it's supposed to do. Installation is fairly simple. I'm glad they included the 3.5" tray. It's pretty inexpensive

I'm not sure how useful it is. Okay, so I tried to use it as a straight SSD, since some reviews mentioned that the cache was lost with a hard shut down. But when I installed Win7 Ultimate, it took up 31 of the 32 GB. That was before I installed any...
