High failure rate

Purchased in November 2015. One of the three drives I bought is completely dead and won't show up in the BIOS in either of the desktop machines I have. Do not recommend purchasing because of this. I typically wouldn't write a scathing review like this,...

Fast. Reasonable price ($.33/GB at time of purchase). Decent capacity.

Dead after three month's use.

WOW - WOW - WOW!

I had to go into the BIOS and tell it to use the Sandisk for the boot drive. I had a clean copy of WIndows 7 with an immediate upgrade to Windows 10 in well under an hour. Right now with Windows 10 and some software she is between 35 and 40 GB. All...

Sha-Molie! I got this for my son's PC. He has a 2TB 5,000 rpm Samsung, great and reliable, but not so fast. From the login screen on Windows 10 to when the OS is up and running takes up takes 1 minute 25 seconds. With the new SANDISK it takes < 2...

Easy to set up, there are screw inserts on the sides, I could only use two to support it on one side of the HD rail. I plugged it in and ran the SATA cable to the connector. I had to go into the BIOS and tell it to use the Sandisk for the boot drive....

SSD Speed

I purchased this drive to be a primary boot device on my Windows 7 desktop and replace an HDD. Booting to Windows takes less than 5 seconds on average with this SSD, on the HDD my computer took at least 20 seconds to load Windows. One downside to SSDs...

Good Value on Sale

The benchmark below was run on an Ivy Bridge i5 with a Z75 chipset running Windows 7 x64. The drive was formatted NTFS and attached as a secondary. Test file size was 1GB. AS SSD Benchmark 1.8.5636.37293 ------------------------------ Name: ATA SanDisk...

Performance - Great sequential performance for a 120GB drive. 4K performance is pretty good too. Price - I picked one up at under $0.34/GB. Doesn't compare to the $/GB for larger drives, but still a good deal in the 120GB class.

No cons yet, though I haven't had the drive in use for long.
