Super Talent 16GB Pico Flash Drive Review

Super Talent has managed to cram 16GB of storage in a mind-bogglingly small package. It used to be that drives so small suffered when it came to read and write performance, but has Super Talent managed to break this perception and provide decent...

The Super Talent Pico 16GB USB flash drive packs 16GB into a ridiculously tiny form factor. Its write speeds might not be anything out of the ordinary, but its read speeds and diminutive size are what set it apart from the competition.

Worth the investment

Well worth the investment. I use the Aspire to RDP into another PC and the boot / wakeup times were awful with the stock SSD. I had all but given up on it and was ready to unload it for auction and go back to lugging around my full size laptop. Then I...

35 second cold boot to no SSD activity with fresh install of Acer / Win XP home restore. Less than 15 second wake up from closed cover sleep. I will no longer be listing the Aspire One for auction, this SSD from Super Talent makes the Acer worth using...

A bit tedious install for someone who is not knowledgable with dis-assembling laptops etc. Recommended for experienced only crowd

Pico Mini 16 GB

For the money, this is a great value, be prepair to fiddle with figuring out which way to plug it in. It truley is a very snug fit so you really have to push the drive in with force, so I'm sure over time the case will open up and you will have to...

This is exactly what i was looking for. It is small compact and large capacity. As stated in another review, the chip itself is all one piece which is nice

Bad part is, the backing of the chip came off. The construction is poor and I believe the reason it fell apart is because is fit into the USB slot too snugly causing stress on the casing which caused it to crack open. I fixed it with crazy glue. The...

Price was right, and why not go smaller, the other full size USB sticks are too big to fit on key chains, this one is barely noticeable, and the capacity is awesome. Other sticks are =/- $5 I would recommend this one for practicality.

Small, capacity, and speed. Works just like any other USB 2.0 drive, and has same speeds. Comes with a decent lanyard to fix to your key chain. Its the same size as a MicroSD to USB adapter that Kingston makes, just half the thickness

So small you could lose it? It also fits in the USB slot both ways. Also had some trouble having other PC's recognize the drive... probably the PC's fault

Quality item

since its one solid piece water cant get into the drive. I'm sure its not good for the metal connectors though. seems to be made out of durable plastic, and despite its odd size it still fits firmly into USB slots. almost too firmly. I havent tested...

I haven't owned this item for very long, but right off I notice a few exceptional qualities in this device ; 1. this drive is one solid piece, so their is no chance that the usb connector can become loose, or broken ; 2. This thing is small. way small....

effective memory size is 14.9 i really hate how companies always short you on memory, but I still gave it 5 stars since EVERY harddrive has a smaller effective size
