Not impressed


I sent it back. I was looking for a big speed increase based on what I know about SSD's. I did not get it. I was planning on making this a dedicated "swap file" drive.

Looks cool

I found this to be no faster than a 7200rpm 8mb SATA drive. Also, it is not compatible with certain motherboards (Tyan S2895 for example)

What The???


I would haqve gladly paid more for the drives i wanted, never though i would be fooled into buying an inferior drive. Spend $800 or $700, and enjoy all the perks of an SSD to date. A few months and a few other companies will have their SSD drives on...

Compact, looks and sounds good, LOL

Don't be fooled, advertised speeds are not for this drive!! I have been in the PC field for over twenty five years, this drive sucks!!! ATA 33 speeds at best, again not the advertised speeds

I'm trying to figure out a high random access application for the drive that doesn't involve a lot of transfer. Perhaps a swap file or something.

Low power and no noise, like any SSD. SATA convenience
