Was on sale, packaging and unit were great. Runs just fine

A very fast SSD is still limited by your computer's HDD connection type (example: SSD 300mB/s and bus max 133mB/s). Small files zoom along and large files are about the same as a HDD. The OS is much snappier when run off the SSD

I was unable to get the drive to read on an external USB drive mate. The BIOS recognized it was there but the drive mate did not. HOW TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE : Mount the drive onto the mother board and insert Windows install disk, proceed with fresh...

the fastest speed you can get on the PATA bus

I haven't used this drive, but I wanted to point out that an open source, free software is downloadable to clone disks. Clonezilla is one, by itself or embedded within Parted Magic. One of the drives, at least, would be hooked up as usb external. Have...
