Great SSD

Works like a charm. Plug and play ; Windows 7 64-bit boots up in seconds! LOVE IT

No driver for the SF but I don't think it really needs one despite the reviewers and stuff. It works fine and that's really all I care about

Sandforce Controller

Thanks again Zalman! Your ill regards to paying customers ceases to amaze me! As I stated in previous review... Never again!!!!

Great to see that Zalman finally responded to my emails. However, in their response they said there were no updates to the firmware nor would there be. However, in the review I left here on newegg.com Zalman responded specifically stating to go to...

Now I have to figure out which Sandforce controller it is. Because if you download the firmware for the wrong one then you run the risk of destroying the drive. And Sandforce isn't going to know. They aren't the drive manufacturer. They only...

Response to Zalman comment

FAST. WORKS. CHEAP

How could this be the response? Seriously, how many products do you sell that it made by you and not re branded? Do you think Laci or Iomega makes the Hard Drives for the External Backups? Or MSI, Asus and others make the Chip-set on the video cards?...

Good Upgrade

So far this SSD is working as good and better than I expected. However, Zalman has proven to be a very poor company when it comes to customer service. I refuse to give my business to any company that has as little respect for the people purchasing...

Very fast and durable. Have not noticed any of the various issues other people have complained about with other SSD's

After purchasing I wanted to update the firmware to the latest and greatest version (as ALL tech critics recommend you do!!). However, according to Zalman's website this product does not exist! I figured Zalman may have a separate website for their...

Zalman N Series SSD0128N1 2.5" 128GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

The drive is fast, works as advertised

It came with no wires, screws, or an adapter to fit into a 3.5 inch bay. The adapter I can understand, but missing any kind've mounting hardware and wiring is worth -1 egg

Nice ssd

Make sure you set your mobo to AHCI mode for this and other ssds.

Fast. My comp boots very quickly. Apps install and load faster than I've ever seen. Tiny footprint. Very stable

Awesome

Did some research and this is currently one of the fastest SSDs on the market. Places like Tweaknews and Legit Reviews have reviewed this drive and it's benchmark results are impressive.

Bought this for an aging Dell Studio 1537. Did fresh install of Win 7 and now the laptop boots within 45 seconds. Programs such as MS Office boot within 2 seconds, drive is also very quiet and seems to have increased my laptops battery life via lower...
