Low priced Android Tablet

As with any piece of electronics there is no one size fits all. You have to think about what you want to do with the device and then pick the best ine to fill that (those) need(s). For me, I have been a Palm user for 20 years. I started ...

Excellent price, all the apps, great speed, fits in my pocket

Resistive touch screen, HD camera functionality

Archos 43 Internet Tablet

If you want an MP4 player that gives you much more than movies and music, the Archos 43 will also connect you to the internet, take pictures and video, display eBooks and play games. You won't miss out on extra features with the Archos 43.

It has a large, clear HD touchscreen, perfect for watching movies on the go

This device needs more storage space if it is going to be primarily a video player

This is a portable media player that also does much more.

great peice

In all if I'm on a trip wanting to surf the web ,watch a movie ,or just listen to tunes I much prefer this over the ipod touch. It defiantly plays more video file types(actually haven't found any it won't play)it has a bit bigger screen and can...

The android system is great and updating was a snap. Loading the marketplace was easy with help from a youtube tutorial . This is defiantly a time killer. i get playing with this thing and next thing I know I've killed 3-4 hours. its easy to navigate...

Tow big beefs, it doesn't seem to remember wep keys or at least not more than one at a time.I travel between wifi areas and whenever i get to a different spot i have to reload the wep key. move to another spot reload wep key go back to the previous...

Pocket Computer is cool

Great pocket computer to carry wherever you go. As long as you have Wifi it does what you need.

Android OS, No monthly data plan, takes pictures/video, plays apps, MP3s

No multi-touch, video playback doesn't always work

I wanted this to work so bad....

I reeeally wanted a "Ipod like" device without the apple control. My wife has a Itouch for a few years ago, and she likes it. I didn't like I tunes, or the way apple has control of the device. So, I decided to try a android device. I really wanted a...

Nice size package, video quality, expansion slot, bluetooth

Touch" screen reliability/accuracy ; Touchscreen was frustrating to say the least, then it got way out of calibration and refuses to complete the calibration sequence. Now the device is "stuck" needing the screen calibrated, but you can't get it to...

All around a great device. Thin and light with a nice big screen (but still pocketable). The resistive screen is not as good as capacitive but i manage to navigate around adequately. Given that is the only real drawback (and not a huge one for me) this...

Micro SD ; 16x9 screen ratio ; 4.3 inch screen ; Android OS ; Flash support ; Large variety of audio and video codec support ; Purchases are re-downloadable

Resistive touch screen ; Didnt have flash 10.1 even after update to Android 2.1.04

Excellent product

All around great buy. The only slight drawback is the touch screen but i can navigate adequately so that isn't an issue for me. Works in my basement 50 feet away and several walls from my D-Link Dir 655 router which is one floor up.

Android OS and all that that implies ; Micro SD ; Purchases are re-downloadable ; 16x9 screen ratio ; 4.3 inch screen ; Flash support ; Wide audio and video codec support

Resistive touch screen ; Flash 10.1 not installed even after 2.1.04 update

ARCHOS 43 16g

More affordable than similar apple products. Even though the screen has been giving me problems, I'd take this over an apple product, just for the mulitple ports, and it's ability to play much more formats than any apple product. Plus it comes with...

Screen display is very clear and easy on the eyes ; Plays multiple formats of video ; Games are visually appealing for a personal media device(3D) ; Multiple ports. (both the HDMI and USB port are mini)

The touch part of the screen is poor quality. I had a rough time navigating through menus and scrolling through web pages or lists of files. My nexus 1 phone responds much better, and even that device falls short of the iPod touch interface part of the...

Awesome product

This is a great device. I am very happy with it. I use it for hours every day.

Fast ; Andriod's market (after manually downloading it) ; Great looking screen ; Good speaker ; Tons of storage ; Awesome battery life ; Great wifi reception ; Overall a gaming / media mobile monster

The speaker could be more clear ; The touch screen is terrible with out a stylus
