I am reviewing this combined with the A5+ and D1 DAC. This subwoofer is a fantastic addition to A5s and really completes the package. I listen to many genres of electronic music and the deep bass takes the speakers from good to WOW.

There is simply no going back. I thought that the Audioengine A5s had considerable low end punch given that they are basically tiny compared to my much larger JBLs but the accurate low end frequency range added by the AS8 sub is just phenomenal....

This sub is VERY well built and as sold as can be. I purchased this along with the AE A2's and for a 2.1 system - this sounds GREAT!

I love my Audioengine Speakers subwoofer and wireless connection. You will have a hard time finding something to complaint about.
