Thumping...

Brought this to replace my 8 inch Polk audio subwoofer. My Polk lasted 13 years,rubber around speaker started to fall apart. It served its purpose, had it in a much smaller room and it was perfect for my application at the time. Now my room is 18x15...

very good SUB

great size and sound. I have a straight stereo system with a HK3390 receiver and vintage Boston Acoustic A70 speakers. I use the crossover in the HK amp. set at 50% volume this sub really works! it is provides the clean low freq responce missing from...

V1020 is a great addition to the Nanosat Prestige 5.0

I bought the Nanosat Prestige 5.0 and knew that I would need a sub. So yes, already a compromise with small speakers. The boss said no big speakers with the new thin TV on the wall. Roger that. The biggest challenge was whether to get the V1020 or the...

Great!

Awesome sub! This thing really rumbles, especially for a reasonably priced subwoofer. Simple to setup, nice options with the crossover, volume control, on/auto/off power settings. Great product.

Very nice

Although not a true audiophile, I do appreciate something that sounds good. The bottom line, this thing is really great for the price. It has the options necessary when looking for a powered subwoofer, the crossover really helps you dial things in. If...

We have been using this subwoofer for just over a month and are completely satisfied. Have not tried many movies yet, but it seems like it is doing what it is supposed to do. It handles any music we can throw at it, at any volume, without complaining...

V1020 = impressive

This unit is impressive. I paired it with Pioneer Elite vsx-30 receiver, and I have Polk's TSi300 for front, CS10 and M10 for surrounds. No problem with blending. Actually the most impressive part of my Home Theater is this subwoofer. You can hear the...

Great sub!

I have never been able to afford a gigantic sub. I have had a few subs at 100 watts. This sub rocks my house. I am extremely impressed. I shudder to think what it would be like if I got the v 1220 instead. This sub is located in an upstairs extra room...

Nice distortion free sub, weak built-in amp though.

Good bang for the buck, but should have a *much* more powerful internal amp to make justice to the otherwise great project.

Incredible sound for the budget-minded discerning listener

I was looking for a sub in the sub-$200 range and after much research settled, no make that kicked butt, with a purchase of the BIC V1020. I listened to Polk PSW10 (as others have said, lacks definition, although I am pleased with my other Polk center...
