Since I sold my old Boston DHT687BA Home Theater system that came with a PV-350 subwoofer, I decided to try a few small subs to see how they did with music only. Usually a sub that does well in the upper part of its range will be good for movies too....

Amazing Little Sub

 

I had never heard of BIC before purchasing this subwoofer. I needed a micro size sub as I was fitting it in to an existing cabinet and this had the dimensions i needed. I was a little skeptical because of the low price, but decided to give it a try...

Product Specifications

The V-80 offers surprisingly deep, robust bass from an 11" cabinet! Its 100-watt amp is equalized at low frequencies, enabling the 8" woofer to deliver amazing low bass output for its size. The amp volume control and adjustable crossover allow you to match the V-80 to any speakers. It also features automatic on/off signal-sensing circuitry and high/low level inputs.
