Bose Computer MusicMonitor

Limited by their size but still provide an enjoyable sound and portable desktop audio solution… at a price

Well balanced sound ; Impressive clarity throughout mid and high frequencies ; Low distortion ; Portable, stylish design

Bass light ; Dynamically restricted ; Small soundstage ; Expensive

They come at a price, of course, but if you’re looking for good-sounding speakers that will take up minimal desk space and can go wherever you go, you could do a lot worse than cough up the cash for these.

built to last...hopefully

I don't regret buying them.

Aside from a very decent sound What I really like about them is that they are heavy and have a low center of gravity. I got tired of top heavy speakers falling over every time I bumped the desk.

What I don't like is the the thick rigid wire harness/power cable that all comes out of the left speaker, very difficult to manage On the picture in the add every thing looks so clean

Status symbol or speaker?

For day-to-day use, sitting at your desk with the speakers both pointed at your face and within 3 feet, these will work great. However you will experience similar and sometimes better results with lesser priced speakers. Note: not for use as reference...

The Bose Music Monitor speakers are compact and use very little power for the amount of sound they put out. Fidelity is good at lower listening volumes. Saves on desk space.

These speakers are really quite overpriced. For $300, you should expect greater power handling and RMS, though a larger footprint. Also, the frequency response is not consistent at all volume levels. At lower levels, you can hear louder highs and at...

Great speakers

These are very small speakers to fit any desk arrangement that may have a tight fit. Fantastic sound and really solid bass from a speaker of this size. Sounds are clear and conscise. Really happy with this purchase.

They are very expensive by computer speaker standards, but the old saying holds true here, you get what you pay for. Other then that, the only real gripe I had was the cords, both the outlet as well as the sound cord were both a bit short for my home...

Bose M2

The Bose M2 are the lower end version of the music monitor. They came out in Japan a few years ago with the higher end Bose M3(they had a stronger bass and could take 4 AA batteries) I was orginally going to get those but the M3's were limited and only...

These speakers are very well made. Paired with a good soundcard they are extremely clear(low and high). They are made with aluminum, very compact, and quite heavy for speakers of that size, which is good

Price. They were $400 now $300(still expensive)

BOSE® Computer MusicMonitor

Very good sound very powerful for their size. Plenty of weight that it doesn't slide off or around on the desk. Little remote sounds stupid but comes in handy often.

None.
