Good buy for a 2.1 speaker !Go for it !Very easy set up

A good buy if you like crisp n clear sound !

No distortion even if you increase the bass to maximum n volume to 100% it works fine

remote is way too small & easily lost under you or in sofa grooves. :P

Sad bass response over priced

Mine died after a year and a half. So I took it apart to see why the Bass was so poor. I found a 4'1/2 inch driver that the Bass was depending on. How sad Bose is ripping people off by claiming that this small driver even with porting can produce Bass....

If anyone thinks this sounds really good. Then you obviously have never heard a good system. I bought it just for TV sound and at a Bose outlet. The plus is that it is easy to setup

Simply makes your TV sound better!

I was looking for better sound from a flat panel TV. I was not interested in a surround system, real or faked. I looked at soundbars but ended up with the Bose Cinemate II.

Quick and simple setup, high build quality, separate speakers allow optimum placement, decent sound quality

Expensive, no manual controls (only remote), wired connections can look messy

Truth is, I doubted the reviews I had read. The Bose in-store display was absolutely convincing. There was no way mere vocals would pose such a problem for this "impressive" system. Even the salesperson suggested that I consider a different system;...

Terrific sound effects - really brings the motion picture to life

Difficult to hear words. One can compensate by increasing the volume, but beware of sound effects as these come crashing through

I looked around for months before this purchased, looked at several soundbars but nothing could match up...the sound is what it is. Go into your local store (whatever it may be) and listen to them all, after trying that you will find yourself going...

Easy setup, had it up and running within 10 min after removing it from the box. Sounds Awesome

I have no issues with this 2.1 setup, I bought what I wanted and got what I paid for
