Bowers & Wilkins 684 Theatre

A 5.1 system that brings B&W's legendary sound to a price mere mortals can afford

Natural, effortless sound with sparkling detail ; Superb dynamics and bass weight ; Solid build quality

Not the biggest sounding floorstanders ; Run of the mill looks

Classy, engaging sound quality makes B&W’s stunning 684 Theatre system two grand well spent.

Bowers & Wilkins 684 review

Bowers and Wilkins's 684 floorstander incorporates much of the company's classy technology

Tonal balance is impressively smooth and even ; Superior neutrality with nicely open voicing ; Good sensitivity ; Fine, flexible bass extension

Dynamic capabilities are somewhat limited ; Bass is weighty but lacks some tonal discrimination

A fine all-round performer at a very realistic price, this floorstander has an impressively smooth and even tonal balance. It sounds nicely open at modest levels but the top end can become congested when the volume is turned up
