Braven 625s Bluetooth speaker review

First things first. Do you enjoy listening to clear clean voices with readily identifiable instruments and feel a little uneasy with big booming bass? Then the portable Braven 625s speaker, built for the outdoors thanks to a rugged rubber exterior,...

Sporty, rugged, includes a weather resistant bag and flashlight ; Great sound for the size and daisy-chainable for even bolder sound ; Stable Bluetooth syncing music streaming and speakerphone ; 16 hour play time ; Power bank for charging on the go

The unit itself is not water resistant ; Hard to see buttons ; Really old devices may have more difficulty syncing ; Clear balanced sound, but a touch more bass might be appreciated

Braven 625s Bluetooth Speaker review

Braven 625s Bluetooth Speaker review Written by: Ibba Bernardo

Pretty powerful and clear for a portable speaker ; Ruggedized and ready for adventure. Definitely one of the toughest portable speaker available ; It gives ’til it hurts by charging other USB devices ; A triad of useful accessories bundled with it:...

I’ve got fat fingers and the buttons are kinda tiny ; I sometime confuse front and back ; It’s pricey

There is no Bluetooth Ruggedized speaker in the local market that can compete with the Braven’s sound and build quality. The Braven 625s is for the adventure junkie, weekend warrior or daily commuter who loves music and likes to travel in packs.

Overall, the Braven 625s and Braven 650 are so considerably improved on last year’s Spar models that they’re now worthy of our general recommendation: name change aside, the company has redeemed itself enough with each of these models that we’re...

Good value for its performance

I would recommend it for on the go sound with MP 3 player, mobile phone and Apple devices - Would not recommend if Bluetooth speakerphone is your primary reason to buy - I like the convenience and so far the construction material for fit and finish -

USB charging for other devices

Speakerphone - Microphone is a weakness

Know what you are buying

This is a nice little unit and if you were using for low volume, camping, etc, it is really nice. However, do not expect this to fill a room with sound. I was hopeful, but it just didn't do the job. This may be very good vs. other similiar products,...
