I am using these speakers in my home theater. They work pretty well, but I am not an audiophile. For the money I paid for them, I think they are the best value around. I use them for movies, music, and video games, and have not missed anything.

These rather large towers are very efficient and need little power to drive. The sound is warm and engaging yet quite dynamic. I have run them for years without wanting or believing I needed a subwoofer. Very under rated speakers for their time.
