All around good speakers for the price. They don't handle bass real well but for their size they do an okay job with it. Mid range and treble are all real good. Music played over them is clear and distortion free. Overall a good deal.

The Wharfedale speakers are a great deal for the price. They look beautiful (I've got the maple), but they sound even better. If you can't spend more than $1,000 (which I can't), you couldn't go wrong with these--clear, clean sound on treble and bass.

I have had this system for over 5 yrs. The sound is very good. Not sure how long they were supposed to last though. The fuse blowed and I have replaced it 4 times to no avail. Guess that I will have to say goodbye to this one and look for a new set. :(
