CALIFONE 3068AV Switchable Stereo/Mono Headphones

I purchased 5 of these for my classroom to use at the computer center and when needed, the listening center. The quality is great for my little ones.

Wow! This completely exceeded expectations. Great product. I cant really find uses for the features but regardless, good audio quality and great comfort. Good job and creating your own sound environment. This product is awesome!!!

The picture on Amazon makes it look like there is space between the two sides. THERE IS NOT! I'm not even sure how this photo was achieved because in order to make this happen with the pair I received, you would have to tie fishing line on each side...

I was looking for a simple inexpensive set of headphones for computer, portable dvd, and iPad use. Being a retired educator the name Califone rang a bell. Not only do memories of school pop into my brain when I use them.... but they fit well and sound...

I have found it hard to find earphones with individual volume controls. These headphones come with individual volume controls allowing you to set the volume differently for each ear. They are also very reasonably priced.

Works well either in Stereo or Mono mode. Permits user to compensate for weakness in either ear with separate volume adjusters. Works well with iPod Shuffle without drawing down battery prematurely.

I have lost my hearing in one ear. Turning the volume up more on my tv was not an option as it would be too high for others. With regular stereo headphones I would loose part of the conversations, but with the switchable to mono I can hear everything...
