Tells you to cut a hole that would end up being to big for front plate... Nice door but bad instructions.

This latest purchase was to replace the cat door of the same model which was used for about 15 years. I expect another 15 years.

I just purchased this today and installed it in about 30 minutes. I didn't even have to remove the door. It is awesome for the price! My advice would be to cut the hole on the outside of the line you trace around template. I had to trim mine a little....

I am very satisfied with this cat door. It was fairly easy to install (about 30 minutes) and very simple for my cat to use.
