my son is young and just got his first computer. i purchased these so he couldnt turn the volume up and drown the house hold noise out such as the ringing phone or me yelling for him. they work great for this purpose. the volume dosent go up very loud....

One word....JUNK! Don't waste your ten bucks

Back ground noise is unbearable and replaced them already!

Bought for older parents. Thought usb powered would be great, but some computing noise comes through(HD etc.) otherwise great for money
